Enter a Twitter username to remove tweets containing replies, retweets, hashtags and URLs.
Mute a popular tweeter:
Every page on Mute.ly has a sidebar which you can use to filter tweets from the timeline.
A user's page defaults to muting everything except 'True Tweets'—all replies, retweets and tweets containing links or hastags are removed.
But you can get them back: just click on a tweet type in the sidebar to reveal the muted tweets, and click again to mute them.
So, if you have a friend who tweets links to cool sites, but can't stop talking about their kitten, click on 'True tweets' to turn off the cat chat, and click on 'Links Lessened' to show those juicy URLs.
If you like to keep your fingers on the keyboard, you can find your way around Mute.ly by typing in your URL bar.
